Hey all, I was blessed by yesterday's lesson on worship.
Often, we are misled into thinking that worship is only something that is done in church.. must have music, full band... must have cool worship leader, dancer, cool action... etc. Worship thus becomes an object in itself..but no, worship is not the end. It's just the means to an end.

What is worship?
1. It's a natural reaction when we are amazed, dumbfounded, lost for words. Look around you. Look at the world He created. Recall ko Riky was showing us the majestic views atop mountains, waterfalls, across the seas, etc etc. Beautiful, isn't it?
It's like telling God 'Wowwwww.. what amazing things You have done in my life, God!' He sacrificed Himself on the cross, and that's not the end. He continued to love us, protect, guide & bless us to this day. Is there any gods like our God?

2. Remember the verse (John 4:23-24), God is not just looking for WORSHIP. He is looking for WORSHIPPERS who worship Him in spirit and in truth. Who are the worshippers? They are the people who worship. (Just like singers = ppl who sing, teachers = ppl who teach). Worship should be our lifestyle too. If worship is all about singing and music, we have no chance against talented artists out there, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston etc. If worship is all about dance, what about those who are physically less able, the paralysed, bedridden...? Worship should be our life. Not just on Sundays, in church, during church service. Worship should occupy us 24/7, Monday to Sunday. And no, I'm not talking about singing. It's to do with the attitude of our heart, our desire to glorify God and honour Him in all we do.

Let's worship God, teens. God loves our worship..
